Ho, ho, ho! 🎅Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 🤶
From my family to yours, I want to wish you a happy holiday season. 🎄 This Christmas, I want to share a family tradition with you all. 👪 As you all know, I am Mexican 🇲🇽, and family and unity are really important to us. One of my favorite things about the holidays is coming together to cook together. We make tamales, pozole, arroz con leche, and even more yummy Mexican dishes! It’s an entire day of cooking. 👩🍳 As Mexicans, we also celebrate the 24th instead of the 25th. On the 24th, we spend all day prepping and cooking, and at the stroke of midnight, 🕒we open presents! 🎁 One of my biggest presents, having been away and traveling, is to be with family during the holidays. My family has grown (my adorable niece 👶is one!), and we love to sit around the table playing board games for hours, enjoying all the food we’ve prepared. On this holiday, I want to thank you for being part of my family and for the ways that we have walked on this journey together. I wish each of you incredible happiness, wonder, gratitude, and magic this Christmas. I hope you take some time to really reflect on what’s most important in your life and to be really present with the people who are most important on your journey. 🎁May you laugh until your belly hurts. 🎁May you eat delicious, beautiful food. 🎁May you feel safe and loved. Know that I love you 💚and I am so grateful for each of you in this community. Happiest of holidays from my family to yours. I look forward to continuing to walk on this journey with you!

Do you sort of dread going to the dentist? 😨 Going to the dentist is one of those things that everyone has to do. When I moved from San Jose to San Francisco, I had to find a new dentist. 👩💻I searched online to find referrals and recommendations. Where do we go to solve our problems? 📌The Internet 📌Our Friends (and then the internet!) Once I got to each dentist’s website, I found myself worried. Their websites weren’t inspiring trust. ❌ I needed to know their offices were clean, that they’d treat me right, that they were using up-to-date technology, etc. After months of research, none of those dentists made the cut. 🙅 Why? Their online branding sucked. 👎 For years, I continued to drive down to San Jose every time I needed to go to the dentist. The dentists in San Francisco could have been great! But online, you have 5 seconds with which to make an impression. Don’t have an ugly website - it’s 2019! 💻 When we engage with brands, we have emotional reactions. We don’t buy rationally; we buy emotionally. Your potential customers are not robots. 🤖They’re human beings reacting emotionally to your online presence. You’ve got 5 seconds to make the impression you want to make. 🕒 What impression are you making with your online branding? Is your branding up to snuff with your level of expertise? Want to talk about your branding? I'd love to talk to you about making sure your branding is consistent with the value you bring your clients. Here’s the short answer: yeah, sure!👌🏼 But if you’re asking this question, you already know there’s a lot more to it than that. Just because you CAN doesn’t necessarily mean you SHOULD. 🤔 Marketing to two different niches might work to uplevel your business to 6-7 figures, but it also might not be the right strategy for your business. Right now, there are 4 HOT MARKETS: Money 💰 Health 🤸🏻♀️ Relationships 😘 Beauty/Entertainment 💄💃🏻 In order to move people toward making a decision to work with you, you have to appeal to their need to change. The only thing that leads somebody to change is pain or pleasure. All four hot markets are areas rich with both pain and pleasure. To launch into success, you want to work off a foundation/infrastructure that’s already working to your advantage. Being the only person in your field can be powerful, but can also create friction and obstacles to beginning. Most coaches and consultants should start in one of the already 🔥hot🔥 markets! Once you choose your hot market, you’ll work your way down to a niche by choosing a market segment. Your market segment will present a number of available niches. Example: Market: Money Market Segment: Business Coaching Niche: Online Presence & Business Systems that Lead to Profit When choosing your niche, ask yourself: what is your priority? 🤷🏻♀️ Making money in a shorter period of time as a newbie? Or continuing your established practice that’s already financially successful? If you’re looking to make money in a shorter period of time, niching down will make you more successful! Suppose you have 🔟 soccer balls ⚽️ . For each soccer ball, there are 🔟 different angles to hit the ball. If you continue to try a different angle each time, you won’t become successful at any angle. If you’re focused on one angle, however, you’re going to get pretty good at getting the ball into the goal. 🙌🏻 Bring an offer that is complementary to the market! If someone exists that’s focused on Facebook Group Monetization and you’re focusing on Online Presence and Systems, your offers are complementary to one another and can work together in the same market segment. Make yourself and your offer irresistible to your chosen niche! Can you succeed in two different niches? Absolutely.💁🏻♀️Is it the most effective way to spend your time, money, and energy, particularly as an emerging business? Probably not!🙅🏻♀️ |
