✨Life is beautiful, precious and sacred. Let's treat it with the reverence it deserves. Today, I'm writing to you all from Dallas, TX. It's been a whirlwind of a month! My parents came to visit me in Austin, TX for the first time since I moved here, and since then I've been hopping around the state from personal growth event to personal growth event. 😍 Living with our Soul on Fire is intricately connected to the intentional creation of magic moments. While my parents were in town, I knew I wanted to create experiences and memories that we would remember for life... There was that one moment where we were stranded, totally out of gas in the middle of the mountains in Mexico... thanks dad. Very memorable indeed. 😅 But that's just it. Being stranded with both of my parents in the middle of nowhere was such a gift. And these gifts are everywhere if we just choose to acknowledge them. My Prius ran out of gas because my dad thought we would make it to the next station... and we didn't. But rather than it being a stressful situation, we had intentionality about how we wanted to interact and so this situation led to lots of laughter, teasing, and a story about my dad I'll keep retelling for life. It still makes me burst out loud laughing when I think of it. 😂 That week, and as the weeks continued, I had one question top of mind: "how can I create more magic moments with those I love?" And that's the thing - we need to bring intention every day, to how we celebrate, how we adventure, and how we love. ⚡️ So as we are keeping things short this week, I have just one question for you: how can you intentionally create more magic moments in your life and with those that you love most so you can bring more of that quality of life that will have you feeling like you're living life with your Soul on Fire? 🔥

 What a load of bull 💩! At least, that is what I used to think before I started on my personal development and entrepreneurship journey. 🤷 Back when I blamed the circumstances of my life for the results I was seeing ... for the parts of my life I didn't like. Back before I really understood what 💯 ownership over all parts of your life meant. When my first coaches told me that my struggles were my gift, all I heard was "blah, blah, blah." Yeah, easy for you to say, jerk. Your life is easy, mine is hard. Oh, to be young and silly, and to identify yourself as a victim of your own story. But we do the best that we can at the time with the tools that we have access to. I look back to those earlier days with love and compassion, and you should too for your own younger days and your most trying moments. 🙏 So yes, your struggles ARE your biggest gift, and it's in your personal battles that your inner strength, your inner warrior is forged. 🔥 Let me tell you a story, a story that when I first heard it stopped me dead in my tracks. I have loved this story ever since. I heard it from a friend but haven't been able to find it anywhere else, so hold on to your hearts and hats because it just might leave an imprint on your life forever as it did mine, and you'll never see turtles quite the same way... Storytime: The Old Man and the Sea Turtles 🐢  Once upon a time, there was an old man who lived by the sea. We'll call him Oscar for this story. 👴
Oscar loved walking by the ocean, feeling the warm sand underneath his toes, and breathing in the fresh breeze of the sea. 🏖 Oscar had been living in this small sea-side town for years, and his favorite time of the year was when the momma turtles would come out to sea, lay their eggs, and then he'd get to experience the miracle of life when the baby turtle hatchlings would slowly make their way to the sea. This year, it was hatching time, again and Oscar was sitting in his usual spot watching as the baby turtles popped out of the sand and then slowly, and often with difficulty, made it to the sea. 🐢 On this occasion, a couple, Abdul and Sarah were visiting this quaint sea-side village and they were intrigued when they noticed Oscar sitting on the beach. They walked up to him and asked, "Sir, what are you looking at?" With a warm feeling in his heart, 💛 Oscar explained that he was witnessing the miracle of life, a journey that he loved to witness every year. The couple smiled and looked on as they noticed the baby turtles slowly making their way to the sea. Oscar got up and said that he had to go. They said goodbye, and Oscar was on his way and excited to come back tomorrow. When Oscar arrived the next day, his heart was broken. 💔 There were dead baby sea turtles sprinkled life confetti all over the sand. Oscar's stomach turned, he felt weak in the knees, he found it hard to breathe. What had happened here? Oscar was not able to help himself and he started to weep. Big hot tears streamed down his face. 😪 As he cried, he felt a gentle hand on his shoulder. It was Sarah. "Sir," she asked, "what happened?" Oscar said, in a broken voice "I don't know, I've never seen anything like this." Sarah then said, "After you left, Abdul and I helped the baby turtles into the ocean so they would survive. They were struggling so much and we couldn't just stand there and not do anything." Oscar started crying harder than ever. "Oh no, what have you done, what have you done?" he said as he put his head in his hands and wept. 😪 "What you don't understand is that these baby turtles need to struggle, they only gain their strength to thrive in their life through struggling and making their way with difficulty from their nest to the sea on their own. By taking them straight to the sea, they had no chance. They had no chance to build the strength necessary to thrive in their lives." And Oscar wept even harder. Just like with baby turtles, we need to understand that our hardest struggles, our challenges, our hardest moments are our warrior training ground. They are not trying to destroy you, they are trying to forge you. Your struggle is your gift. Challenges, hardships, and struggles are our training to become all that we are meant to-and can- become. Without struggle, effort, and challenge you can't discover what you're made of. And let me tell you you are powerful beyond measure. You are a freaking warrior and you can withstand so much more than you can imagine. 🔥 It is only by allowing yourself to be forged, to grow and learn through the struggle, that you can learn the extent of your might, your strength, your abilities. With each time that you stand strong and persevere you will gain more and more confidence, build up momentum, and know that you really can handle anything that comes your way. And you can't discover the extent of your strength or even build this strength if you don't have challenges, obstacles, and struggles. So next time something hard comes up, rather than hanging your head low and feeling defeated, lift your chin, breathe in deep, and know that this is your training ground. This is how you gain your strength. This is how you take your life and business to the next level. It's not testing you, it's making you. 🔥 And remember that you can withstand it all. Just don't ever give up. Believe in yourself, and keep showing up, again, and again, and again. I believe in you, but most importantly, you need to believe in yourself and know that you will not be defeated. You need to know that this is your gift and you will come out stronger on the other side. 🙌 Sending much love, Luz  A laptop, internet connection, a camera, and your dream life 🗺👩💻✨ I'm on the road again! 🚗 I'm off to a business conference in Las Vegas, then off to California to celebrate my niece's first birthday, and then traveling around California for a number of business conferences I'll be attending. Then... who knows?! The world! 🌎 For sure, before the year is over I'll be spending some time in Guatemala as a guest facilitator at a place that looks like heaven. Yep, I'm fully embracing that #DigitalNomad life! 🙌 When I left my "traditional success" path of working as a lawyer and startup founder, I never would have imagined that I'd be living this life. That I'd have plans to live in Bali, China, India, Kenya, Australia and who knows where else! 😍 As a startup founder, as a lawyer, following the LIE of traditional success that I bought into, I never would have been able to live this life. Have you bought into that lie? You have to ask yourself, as I asked myself, "Is this really it? What you worked soooo hard for? Is it worth it? Is this all you imagined it would be?" Or do you want and expect more? 🤷 Five years ago, before I decided to radically change everything in my life, I recall being stuck behind a computer reading legal documents and writing legal memos, worrying about if I had properly italicized the period ... in the footnotes (come on, really?!! who cares?!!). 😳 I remember being a startup owner and feeling that dread knowing that at the end of the journey I would probably only own 5-12% of my company, and maybe wouldn't even have a say going forward as to the impact that my company would continue to make in the world. 😳 I remember those late nights, thinking "How will I ever be the mom that I always imagined being for my kids? The wife that I'd love to be for my husband? Will I be happy doing this? When do I get to be myself? When will that life that I've worked so hard for finally happen?" 😔 Well, let me tell you one thing, it wasn't going to happen for me following the lie of traditional success. Traditional success really is a lie. But .... then I learned about the online information industry, and finally, after over a decade of searching for the work that would allow me to make an impact at scale, that would use my strengths and allow me to be my full self, that would have me reach the ambitious financial goals I had for myself, I saw a real light at the end of the tunnel. 🔥 Then I learned more about this industry -
Then I started hearing success stories. A juggler making a million dollars. A hypnotist making a million dollars. People teaching knitting, knitting!!!, making hundreds of thousands. People teaching anything and everything, living wherever they wished, having time with their families, being themselves, using their strengths, and being happy. What?! I needed to learn more and master this space. 🙌 And join that space I did! I've never looked back! Being in the online information space has completely changed my life, and I finally am living the life I always imagined I would. You can do so too. You know that in the depths of your being, your soul, something calls out for more. You know that this can't possibly be it. Well, it's not!! Since that epiphany, since discovering the online information space (the best-kept secret of the happiest, wealthiest, and most impactful people), I've now created my own online information products and services. I have students and clients all over the world, I work from wherever in the world I want because it just requires a laptop, the internet, and a camera: I've had $10,000 days, and we are just getting started. 🌟🙌🔥 These results didn't happen overnight. I've invested over $100k in learning what I now know. I'm 5 years into learning about the online business space. I invested $1,000 in a course just about how to master videos. Another $1,000 in a course teaching you how to start your business and make money (when I saw that course I thought "no way!! I can teach that sooo much better!"). Invested another $10,000 in a business conference that taught me about the foundations of business. I invested another ridiculous sum of money on business coaching (totally worth it, get yourself a coach!). I have spent hours and hours and hourssssss studying every youtube tutorial. Sleepless nights building, studying, iterating. I've taken every course, signed up for every webinar, read every book. Interviewed the masters. 🤓 I became obsessed with mastering this space and let me tell you, it's a really cool space! 😍 I also made mistakes, many mistakes. I've cried myself to sleep and wondered why it was so freaking hard. I followed bad advice from the "experts" out there that led to heartache and brokenness - bad advice that shouldn't be out there but is. I saw my friends struggle to make money in the space. I saw them lose their apartments, wonder if they would have to go back to a 9-5 again, wonder how they were going to feed their young new family, feel absolutely overwhelmed with all the work they were doing yet not getting anywhere. I was so frustrated at seeing these same patterns repeat themselves over and over again, at seeing real people I loved following bad advice when they could succeed if they just had better coaching. I had to do something. 🤔 And so I did something about it that I'm soooooooo freaking excited about!! I would tell each of you about it personally by phone, but I don't have time anymore as I'm literally on the road as I type this.
